Credit Report
Shopping at the big three credit reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, the most cost effective credit report is at Experian. TransUnion provides a credit report from all three agencies for $35 with one credit score. Adding the other credit scores costs an addition $10. Equifax charges $40 for all three credit reports but only gives you one score. It does offer hypothetical score modeling though. Experian gives the best overall deal with $40 for all three scores and credit reports.
But before you go clicking, it seems that only Equifax runs the consumer credit reporting in-house. The others are running it on other brands or outsourcing it. The other credit agencies change domain names. Equifax runs their web site and consumer credit report servers on the same range of IP addresses which makes it more secure that outsourcing, a bit less secure than separating the networks, but makes it more likely that the same company is running it all.
