Hardware Hacker

The Washington Post published a piece on clubs which allow people to play with electronic hardware. While they profiled HacDC in the greater Washington, DC area, a worldwide list of places can be found at http://hackerspaces.org.

I'm working on my own LED light bulb which would fit into a candelabra base and direct light all over without the opaque white ballast base present on compact fluorescents.

I've done some basic electronics work with my ham radio antennas which I whipped together before my sidekick antenna came.
