I just tested Putty with UTF-8. It works with Asian language display! Yay!

I hate pricing hidden behind signup

PictureTrail makes you signup before they'll tell you the limitations of their free account. You can only have 36 pictures with their free account. Their paid and trial accounts have up to 50MB or 500 pictures.

Claritin Helps Insect Bites

I'm not a doctor. But I took Claritin to avoid outdoor allergies. I was insect bitten while outdoors. The bites got bad the next day when the Claritin wore off.

Too many computers

I manage to bounce between too many computers at home, work, and at friends places. I could centralize to one computer, a laptop, and have everything at risk when it goes missing. I've already centralized some address book stuff onto a server. This is great, but it requires the internet connection. I'm guessing CVS's network model would be better. I could always try WebDAV.

The trick is that each application's file must be "mergeable" with some utility. It doesn't have to be perfect since humans do weird things to files that would fool even the smartest merge. The goal is just to reduce the amount of management required to remember which place has the latest version. Everyone could keep a copy and the version control system would help determine the latest one and help with catching up with all the changes.

Search For Organic Dairy

Organic dairy products are quite difficult to find. Beyond the organic milk and yogurt, it's not easy to find ice cream and cheese.

64-bit addressing is too small

So there's already petabyte (2^50) databases in both academia and industry. This means that an exabyte (2^60) won't be too far off. And we're only now going to 64 bit computing. We'll be soon running out of the 64 bit address space and needing to go to 128-bit address space. By that time, hopefully IPv6 will be deployed and we'll immediately consider it nearly obsolesence.

We're also running out of metric prefixes. The next 64-bit shattering prefixes are zetta and yotta. I'll definately expect to see those used in the next thirty years.

Music Notation

I guess math notation continues to use LaTeX. Why isn't there a music notation markup language? I guess people are just not learning as much music notation these days. We're all a bunch of people who just want to steal the latest MP3.
