Google Movies

I just searched for Star Wars on Google and it had a prompt for a zip code to get show times. Pretty nifty.

HTML, Javascript, PHP, SQL

There should be a better language that spans from web client, web server, and database.

Javascript seems to have the capability to force render HTML and do HTTP requests. Unfortunately, PHP only seems to view the HTML/Javascript output as a simple stream of bytes. The database is completely isolated by SQL that needs to be written--and sometimes is written as a security hole at the web client side.

Mobile Phones

There's some cool mobile phones with full qwerty keyboards: Motorola A630 (T-Mobile) and LG F9100 (Cingular).
